What’s your favorite goody bag treat? Is it Hershey’s kisses, potato chips, skinny popcorn or snicker bars? Whatever the case may be, save those leftover wrappers from your favorite sweet tooth treats. Why? You will have the opportunity to recycle and up-cycle the wrappers to create a unique Halloween goody bag.

Our Fabric Stash built its name on community. Our on-ramp to Community Programming & Outreach is called Stash-a-DOOdles. We are proud to re-introduce the art of crafting to community by bridging cross cultural and inter-generational relationships, hosting relevant events around fellowship, food and activities. An opportunity to reinvigorate old traditions for modern times by using collective making as a structure to hold community feasts.
During the months of October and November, there will be a different craft activity each Saturday from fiber art to quilting and beyond. Come and share the experience of making either a gift for yourself or adding to a community quilt that celebrates the diverse history of Seattle’s Central District and the role Washington Hall has served throughout the years.
Crafting materials, childcare and light refreshments will be provided. The events are appropriate for all ages unless mentioned otherwise.
