Our Fabric Stash has taken on Homelessness as our social cause initiative for 2019 and everyday folks have been lending a helping hand to create waterproof sleep care cushions that serve as a barrier lift off the ground (instead of using cardboard boxes and blankets). A customer and fellow business owner (Darlene at Christopher’s Lamp) bought the kit, we made the care cushions, returned them to the customer and she delivered the completed care cushion to the man in this photo. This is someone she sees on her commute everyday.
