Description
Do you have a simple top or pair of pants that fit well that you would love to copy? Bring it in to learn some fundamental design techniques on how to make a basic copy without taking it apart. From this method you will learn some important pattern making techniques such as balancing seam lines, where notches belong and where ease should be, seam allowances, the importance of measurements, and basic rules about working with the design line as opposed to the seam allowance. It is advised to bring in a simple design without too much detail in order to learn the principles of the flat pattern.
